Our coffee shop continues to be so popular so we are delighted to have been able to create some additional space to welcome more customers. The new Garden room is a lovely casual space complete with extended play area; light, bright and surrounded by plants. We have also been able to open the outdoor sun terrace which is real sun trap so you can make the most of the warm late summer weather we are expecting. There are exciting new lines being added to our regular Coffee shop menu every day so come along, enjoy a coffee, delicious cake or tasty lunch and enjoy the sun!

We are ready for the summer holidays at Brookfields with many activities that will keep the family entertained, come rain or shine! 

There will be a series of activities running during August with some great craft ideas.

Tuesday August 6th - Scarecrow making activity session 11-3

Thursday 8th August - Make a lantern activity session 11-3

Tuesday 13th August - Make a garden mobile activity session 11-3

Tuesday 20th August - Make a scarecrow activity session 11-3

Thursday 22nd August - Grow your own Cress head activity 11-3

All activities only £1 per child with all proceeds donated to the Nottinghamshire...

Santa will be arriving at Brookfields in grand style again this Christmas. We are really excited to be able to offer 4 children, each with an accompanying adult, the chance to win a place to travel with Santa.

On Saturday 16th November he is coming to the store to open his Grotto; the winners will travel with him and receive an extra special gift from Santa made exclusively for them. There is a competition for 1 place per month until October.

July 15th is the launch date for place number 1 We look forward to selecting the first lucky passenger!

From Monday 1st July to Sunday 7th If you are lucky enough to have shed space in your garden we would like to encourage you to make the most of it.

We have some really terrific gift ideas displayed around the centre for Dads with many different interests; we can even put a number of products together for you as a tailor made gift. How about his favourite biscuits, a Dad size mug to enjoy a cuppa and a good book? We have some fabulous traditional Garden items from very small family companies, one of which is a riddle maker; the very last of these craftsmen in the country. Joke books (including the amusing 'Fifty Sheds of Grey' as mentioned by Alan Titchmarch at Chelsea Flower show) Gourmet chocolate Pizzas, yes that's right, Pizzas made from chocolate and some really special Men's...

Come and see us at the Newark Gardening Show.

April 19th to 21st at the Newark County Showground.

We will be there with some terrific plants, food tastings from our superb selection of own label foods and some great activities for the kids. We look forward to seeing you at the show.

We have launched our annual Children’s design competition this year with the brief being to create a Garden to attract and support Wildlife. Open to 2 age groups, under 8s and 9-12 the design should be hand created by whatever means, paint, felt pens, collage; whatever the creator is most comfortable with.

The entry forms are at the Customer Services or you can print it off here. The prize for the winning entries in both age groups is equipment and plants to help bring the Garden designs to life.

Many of us are familiar with the popular Phalaenopsis and Cymbidium Orchids; we generally have some beautiful specimens in store. However if you would like to see a magnificent array of Orchids why not come along to our Orchid Festival on Saturday 16th February? We are so pleased to welcome back the experts from Burnham Nurseries who will be travelling up from South Devon bringing a wonferful selection of familiar and less well known varieties to select from. They will be with us all day in the Houseplant Department, offering advice and guidance plus regular talks through the day; so interesting for first time growers and experts alike....
